Well to say that these fish test gear is an understatement!  This week we have seen everything from hooks being thrown, leader pulls and even a brand new Z-Bass reel explode on the Blue Fin Tuna.  We were able to tag a nice 68” fish with Ed Gotovich on board “The Dog House”.  Eugene Berger and his buddy Andy got a chance to mingle with a beast for over an hour, working with a reel that had its gears ripped apart by the first blistering run. Needless to say, that one is going back and Fin Deep will only be using Van Staal 275s from here on out!  The rules have changed and the tuna are the chairmen.  If you are feeling lucky, call now as there are a couple of openings left in August - November!
