Late September Updates
Well the Albie fishing does not compare to what it was last year I can say that. The windy fall has made getting on the water difficult and to have white caps hide the breaking fish does not add to the ability to cast to these speedsters. The Cape is still producing but RI is spotty right now. Striper fishing has been slow but that will soon be changing as the fall migration is in motion and the bait is still hanging around. Big blues are being caught right in Newport but our focus now is mainly on Blackfish inshore as well as Blue Fin Tuna at the cape. Smaller Tuna are being reported which is great for us light tackle and flyfishermen! Call early if you want to get in on the action!
